Maximum Benefit Amounts
After taking into account your rent, bills and other expenses, the DHA will calculate how much CalFresh you will receive per month. Most people will not qualify for the maximum limit.
Pandemic Rules: During the public health emergency, all households will receive the maximum limit per month. This will usually come in two payments: one for your regular amount and the second payment is a supplement to bring your monthly amount up to the maximum. At some point when the public health emergency is lifted, the supplements will end.
